I have never bought any pens or pencils before.
My parents have a toy and gift shop and they went to many trade show. We always have hundreds of pens at home. I never had to need to buy one.
As I was leaving for Taiwan for a month, he gave me a small USPS box. He wrote “Taiwan vacation kit” on it. There was a pencil box inside with 5 different kinds of black pens and markers with different tips and for different purposes. There is this one pen, Uni-ball Signo micro 270, that writes super smooth and magically makes me want to write neat. He also gave me a yellow waterproof journal with a waterproof black pen.
It was one of the best gifts I ever received. I still use all the pens and markers.
